- We began producing fried bacon slices a few years ago, meeting the demand of our foreign customers in the HoReCa segment – says Tomasz Przymencki, Director of Production at ZMW KAMINIARZ - After having focused on the home sales, we realized the internal market remains open for novelties, too. The product has been appreciated, therefore it was the right time for development of the line – he explains.
The company has launched another product: fried bacon for salads. Finely-cut bacon slices, a specific meat condiment is easy to add to salads or soups. Bacon for salads, just like the sliced bacon, is offered at weight of 250g (targeted for an individual customer) and 500g or more (dedicated for professionals like restaurants, hotels and catering businesses), the main customer. Each 100g of the product is made of 200g of bacon.
Moreover, there’s a complete novelty on the Polish market: Fried Bacon Lardons. It is yet another addition to the fried bacon line. 100 g of the product is made of 285g of bacon. Because of its functionality, it’s perfect for the HoReCa segment.
Fried bacon is a product of a premium category. The products are made with an innovative and still unique technology of frying with hot air, with no added fat. This technology allows the fast-circulating hot air to run through meat to ensure proper cooking. The fried products make perfect meat snacks, whether they are served hot or cold.
- There are multiple serving ways. Apart from soups and salads, you can also use it in scrambled eggs, a culinary classic. Add it to pasta, burgers or try it as a cold snack – says Waldemar Szymczak, Sales Director at ZMW KAMINIARZ. – The products are also very economical.
